Best in Fest – Fools Day 

Cody Blue Snider bagged “Best in Fest” honors at the first annual Fresh Takes National Youth Filmfest for his film short “Fool’s Day.” The award carries a $5,000 cash prize.

Best Feature – Group Project

Robert Smat’s “Group Project” claimed feature film honors. 

 

StrongPeople2

Best Documentary – The Strong People 

“The Strong People” by Heather Hoglun was judged best documentary.

TheCall

Best Animation – The Call of Farqunglu

Kris Theorin’s “The Call of Farnqunglu” topped the animation entries.

Versus2

Best Experimental – Versus 

“Versus” by Danae Fishman earned best experimental film honors.

  

 

And Daily Motion Mobile Film Challenge Winner Is…..

MobileWinners The winners of the Dailymotion sponsored mobile film category are Tucker Welker and Eva Klein, for their three-minute submission “The Stalker.”  Both are sophomores at West Ranch High School in Santa Clarita, California. The rules of the contest required each submission to be shot on a mobile device. Tucker and Eva shot their film on an iPhone 4.  The winning award in this category is $1,000.
